Refunds & Returns Policy

At Plett Candles, every candle is hand-poured with care and precision. Because our products are crafted in small batches, we have clear and fair guidelines for refunds, returns and exchanges to ensure a smooth experience for our customers.

Custom Orders

Custom candles are poured specifically to your preferred colour, size or design. For this reason, custom orders are non-refundable and cannot be returned.

  • If we made a mistake (wrong colour, size or quantity), we will replace it.
  • If your parcel arrives damaged, we will assist with a replacement — see “Damaged Goods”.

Standard Retail Purchases

Returns for our standard white pillars and Glow Collection candles are accepted within 7 days if the item is unused and in its original condition.

  • Candles must be unburned and undamaged.
  • Proof of purchase is required.
  • Sale and promotional items are non-returnable.

Candle Hire

Hire candles must be returned in the same condition they were supplied. Refunds are not offered for hire bookings.

  • Damaged or missing candles will incur replacement costs.
  • Cancellations within 7 days of the event date are non-refundable.
  • Rescheduling is allowed subject to availability.

Wedding & Event Orders

Wedding and event candles are hand-poured specifically for your date and combination. Once production begins, the order becomes non-refundable.

  • We will store completed candles for up to 90 days if your event is postponed.
  • Colour and size selections cannot be changed after pouring has begun.

Damaged Goods

If your order arrives damaged, please notify us within 24 hours with photos of the candle, packaging and your order details.

  • Email photos to orders@plettcandles.online
  • We will replace the damaged items as quickly as possible.

Refunds & Exchanges

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days. Exchanges are available for standard candles if stock permits. Custom orders cannot be exchanged.
